The Raleigh Magazine calendar page is a comprehensive account of many upcoming events in Raleigh, with the option for website visitors to add their own events. We also had to design a seamless space for ads in a prominent part of the website that encouraged advertisers to invest in this online real estate. The solution was a banner above the header which is attention-getting without the obtrusiveness of a pop-up. We also added a discreet bar at the bottom of the homepage to encourage subscribership.
