It's always an honor to work with our alma mater, North Carolina State University. We've done several projects for them, including a video about their fabled class ring ceremony. This time, we were asked to produce several promotional videos for the alumni association, starring beloved mascots, Mr. & Ms. Wuf. Because this in-demand pair is on a tight schedule, we had just one day to work with them to create multiple videos. For the first shoot, we filmed on campus as Sign Scientist created a mural in the Free Expression Tunnel while the mascots engaged with students and recruited them to help. The result was a feel-good narrative about being part of the close-knit Wolfpack family.

Directing and Producing Promotional Videos
For the next segment of this video shoot, our crew moved the set to the Alumni Association headquarters on Centennial Campus where we filmed the mascots baking cookies for a promotional video to be shared during the holiday season. We directed a series of lively shots of Mr. and Ms. Wuf playing in the kitchen and decorating the Christmas tree so that when it came time to edit and add after-effects, we had plenty of footage to choose from. We added after-effects including music and graphics to each video and were able to produce highly engaging content that was viewed and shared hundreds of thousands of times on social media and via email. These videos were able to increase engagement in alumni association participation and membership.
